Jada isn’t the only celebrity with this problem. Jesy Nelson, a member of the musical group Little Mix, began battling alopecia when she was just 13 years old. Sean Ward, Gail Porter, and many others suffer from alopecia.

What is alopecia?

Alopecia, or hair loss in its general name, is the loss of scalp, eyelashes, eyebrows, beard, mustache, or body hair. There is no complete treatment for the disease. At the same time, we do not know how the disease will evolve. This creates psychological pressure on patients. It is believed that this disease is caused by genetic factors, psychological stresses, cellular and humoral immunity, endocrine, infectious, and nervous factors. And, it has been suggested that this disease is an autoimmune disease. Autoimmune diseases mean that the human defense cells consider their cells as foreign and attack them.
